Valvoline is committed to actively creating an environment where each team member feels empowered to learn, grow and maximize his or her personal contribution. By leveraging the similarities and differences that shape each of us, we encourage and promote innovative thinking and drive the kind of sustainable, competitive advantage that helps Valvoline leverage new opportunities and drive increasing value for our stakeholders.

Valvoline employees differ in age, gender, race, nationality, language, personality, behavior, sexual orientation, gender identity and religious beliefs. We have varying skills, abilities, education and experience. We believe a diverse workforce is critical to inspiring innovation and succeeding in today’s world.

Since 2007, Valvoline has supported Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), led by Vavoline team memebers, that are designed to further personal and professional development; strengthen networking, volunteerism and community involvement; and promote diversity within the company. Members share a common interest, such as race, gender or cultural identity, but membership is open to all employees. ERGs provide another way for employees to be heard, valued and engaged; and members provide key insight to the business.
